Posted by Byron Movement on 2012-04-27 13:03:27.0

The Australian-based Seed Savers’ Network was established in 1986 to preserve local varieties of useful plants and preserve our food biodiversity. There are more than eighty Local Seed Networks around Australia. Rasa, the co-ordinator of the Byron Hinterland Seed Savers, ( one of the many local seed networks) explains how the local groups operate, why it’s important to save your seeds, and gives us a little sneak peak at her beautiful property and gardens in Federal.
